Pleasantly situated just outside Ilkley (a well known spa town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales) is Ilkley Pool and the Lido, one of Britain's last remaining public outdoor swimming pools.
Open during the summer months only, the lido remains a popular place to swim or just somewhere to enjoy the sunshine - weather permitting ! However there is also a heated indoor pool (open through the year) which usually offers a warmer alternative...
